Jesus Kids Home

Jesus Kids Home is an evangelical non-profit and missionary outreach dedicated to supporting abandoned, abused, and special-needs children.

They focus on children left to roam the streets, those discarded because of physical or mental challenges, and those who have suffered from rape and abuse.

Through continuous, active engagement, JKS are steadfast in their mission to provide hope, care, and rehabilitation to these vulnerable children. With over three years of service, they remain unwavering in our commitment to transform lives and offer a brighter future for these young ones.

Nyashadzedu Disabled Trust

Nyashadzedu Disabled Trust works to challenge stereotypes about people with disabilities and promote their inclusion in society. Their goals include empowering individuals through self-help projects, advocating for access to essential services like medical aid and disability insurance, and pushing for inclusive policies in Masvingo, Zimbabwe.

They also partner with local and international organizations, provide spectacles for learners with albinism, and implement development programs in rural areas to meet the needs of people with disabilities. The Trust collaborates with the Government, Social Welfare, and international NGOs.

In support of Nyashadzedu, Disability Equals Ability will provide sun hats and Nevea sunscreen in March/April to help those with albinism, who face challenges like vision impairments and increased vulnerability to sunburn and skin cancer. We are also raising funds for corrective lenses, sunglasses, SPF lip balms, school fees, and exercise books.

Patricia Jabangwe Children's Home

The Patricia Jabangwe Children's Home, founded in 2009 by Mrs. Rev. Patricia Jabangwe, offers care to orphaned, abandoned, abused, and vulnerable children in Prospect, Waterfalls, Harare, Zimbabwe.

Registered as a private voluntary organisation, the home works under the Department of Social Welfare. Mrs. Jabangwe's vision is to create a safe haven where children receive personalised care from a dedicated team of staff.

The home's mission is to provide high-quality support, addressing both the psychological and physical needs of each child. Core values include respecting individuality, empowering children in decision-making, and collaborating with professionals for tailored support.

In February 2023, we supported a child with HIV at the home by covering school fees and providing educational materials.
