The Patricia Jabangwe Children's Home, established in 2009 by Mrs. Rev. Patricia Jabangwe, is a safe haven for orphaned, abandoned, abused, and vulnerable children in Prospect, Waterfalls, Harare, Zimbabwe. Registered as a private voluntary organization, the home operates under Zimbabwean law and receives children through the Department of Social Welfare.
Mission and Care Structure:
-
Personalized Care: Mrs. Patricia Jabangwe and her dedicated team provide individualized support to each child, focusing on recovery from psychological and physical trauma.
-
Core Values: Respecting each child’s individuality and uniqueness, empowering children to participate in decisions affecting their lives, and collaborating with professionals like psychologists and counselors to offer tailored support.
In February 2023, we supported a child living with HIV at The Patricia Jabangwe Children's Home by covering their school fees and providing educational materials, helping to ensure their educational needs are met and supporting their overall well-being.
